Case reports

Feb. 17 At 12:06 a.m., Woodrow Neace reported that he had been stabbed while at Victory Lane Bar. Police arrested. Leonard Henry, charging him with alcohol intoxication. Police recovered the knife on Feb. 23 from an individual who said he took it away from Henry.

Feb.27 Brian K.Nickerson, Brooks Street, reported that his home was burglarized while he was away briefly. A prescription was taken from the home.

Feb. 29 At 10:20 a.m., Duncan Whitley, manager of Cynthiana Home Medical, reported that someone had taken some petty cash from inside the business.

Feb. 29 At 3:20 p.m., Kentucky Bank reported two men were were at the bank to cash a check that had previously been reported stolen by Darren Wilson. Deputy Steve McCauley arrested one of the men on unrelated warrant. The pair said they had been given the check by April Wilson.

Feb. 29 At 11:24 p.m., police made a traffic stop on Sea Biscuit Way for a suspected criminal littering. Police also found liquor inside the vehicle.

March 1 At 3:35 a.m., police investigated a domestic situation on Delta Court.

March 1 At 4:22 p.m., police were called to Locust Street on an apparent domestic call.

March 1 At 11:29 p.m., police were called to Hillside Drive on a domestic disorder.

March 3 At 3:29 p.m., Holly Harding reported that someone tried to get into the residence at 223 Old Lair Road. A neighbor yelled when he saw the suspect and he ran away. There was some damage to the basement door.

March 3 At 11:32 a.m., Tammie Kiskaden reported that in the process of moving, the house at 223 Church Street was left unlocked overnight and someone stole numerous clothing items valued at $1,000.

March 3 At 5:57 p.m., Jerry W. Hoskins reported that someone took a 26-inch bicycle from his home at Reynolds Avenue.

March 3 At 3:26 p.m., Ptl. Scott Loechel was called to Kentucky Bank where someone was trying to cash an alleged stolen check. Ricky Mulwee reported having 12 checks stolen from his checkbook. Loechel had an arrested warrant for Patrick Riley.

March 3 At 7:30 p.m., police stopped Angel Ponce on a possible reckless driving call. They also found fake identification. Ponce was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument.

March 3 At 7:44 p.m., police were called to Pleasant Street on a domestic disturbance.

March 4 At 6 p.m., police were called to a child custody dispute on Wilson Avenue.

March 4 At 6:27 p.m., Frank Pritchard reported that he was in a vehicle and had an argument with the driver. He asked to be let out of the vehicle and as he was getting out, the driver allegedly took off causing Pritchard to be injured.

March 4 At 10:04 p.m., police were called to a disturbance at 105 Main Street. A criminal complaint was issued against William Lea for permitting unlawful operation of motor vehicle.

March 5 At 4:34 p.m., David C. Moore II reported that he had been assaulted while at his home.

March 5 At 10:28 p.m., Cherity Eversole reported that while she left her home to attend her husbands funeral, someone entered her home and stole a Vizio flat screen television.

March 6 At 12:22 a.m., Timothy D. Clark reported that someone broke into his residence at 127 Newsome Ave. Checks and other belongings were taken. The home was also ransacked.

March 6 At 4:03 p.m., police were called to Wal-Mart where an individual had entered the store and stole a Dell Computer, knocked down the greeter as he ran from the store. Police have a suspect.

March 6 At 5:48 p.m., police were called to Rodgers Park on a domestic disturbance between mother and daughter.

March 6 At 4:44 p.m., police investigated a report from Carolyn Hicks who said that a subject entered a residence on Pleasant Street while they were at their daughters funeral and took a Playstation and games, jewelry, leather jacket and cash. Police have a suspect.

March 6 At 6:44 p.m., Tonia Ramiraz reported that she believes her neighbor is throwing nails on the ground because she has had many flat tires in the last three months.

March 7 At 12:53 a.m., police were notified that property was taken in a domestic quarrel.

March 7 At 2:15 a.m., David Moore II reported that he was assaulted in the doorway to his apartment by a neighbor.

March 7 At 11:15 a.m., a Cherokee Drive woman reported that she is being harassed by her ex-boyfriend.

March 7 At 1 p.m., Devada Franklin reported that her cell phone was taken while she was at work at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home.

March 7 At 3:30 p.m., James Cutwright reported that he had several visitors in his home and when he told them to leave one of the individuals refused to live and struck Cutwright in the face.

March 7 At 12:26 p.m., Mary Grable reported that someone took a stone crock from her porch.

March 8 At 5:15 p.m., police were called regarding an out-of-control juvenile at a residence on Pike Street.

March 7 At 9:41 p.m., Darren Wilson reported that someone tried to break into an outbuilding and his home. It did not appear that entry was made, however, about $200 in damages were reported to the building.

March 7 At 6:26 p.m., police investigated a report of indecent exposure.

March 9 At 8:22 p.m., police were called to Wal-Mart where a cart got away from an individual and rolled into the path of another. Hillman Stanfield was driving through the parking lot when the shopping cart being unloaded by James Turner rolled into the path of Stanfield.

March 9 At 9:53 p.m., police investigated a domestic disturbance on Pike Street.

March 10At 3:15 a.m., police were called to a North Poplar Street residence for a domestic disturbance. The front door window had been broken out.

March 10 At 8:40 p.m., Chris Denniston reported that a 30-30 Marlin rifle was stolen from inside his pickup truck. It was stolen on March 6. However, Denniston was looking for the serial number to make the report.

March 10 At 10:09 p.m., a patient at Harrison Memorial Hospital reported that while she was a patient at the hospital someone allegedly entered her home and stole her prescriptions.

March 11 At 9:43 p.m., police were called to a fight between two females on Newsome Avenue.

March 11 At 10:04 p.m., police investigated a report of domestic violence and possible terroristic threatening.

Arrests, warnings, citations

March 11 -- James O. Cox Jr., 30, was arrested on U.S. 27 South andcharged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

March 14 -- Elora E. Ecklar, 18, was arrested on Riggs Avenue and charge with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, under 21.

March 14 -- Justin F. Kearns, 18, was arrested on Riggs Avenue and charged with alcohol intoxication.

March 14 -- Jonathon R. Mattingly, 18, was arrested on Riggs Avenue and charged with alcohol intoxication.
