Case reports

Feb. 5 At 10 a.m., Donna Miller reported an unauthorized use of her credit card in another town.

Feb. 4 At 10:52 p.m., police investigated a domestic situation on Pleasant Street.

Feb. 4 At 10:19 p.m., Christy Milner reported that her cell phone was stolen from where she laid it on the bar at 216 Walnut St.

Feb. 7 At 11:19 a.m., police investigated an alleged hit and run that reportedly took place at the Licking Valley Campus of Maysville Community College. Henry Hogg was allegedly struck by Joseph Gatrost, who was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier.

Feb. 8 At 3:40 p.m., Larry Jones of Mt. Olivet was pulling a trailer hauling a car into the MSP Shell parking lot when the trailer struck a City of Cynthiana fire truck. Mr. Jones was unaware that the trailer had scraped the fire truck. Damage was minimal.

Feb. 8 At 6:14 p.m., police investigated a domestic situation on Fifth Street. The victim alleged that during the altercation her gold necklace was pulled from her neck. The jewelry is now missing.

Feb. 9 At 7 p.m., a 6-year-old girl was reportedly bitten by her dog on Delta Court. EMS determined the dog had not broken the little girls skin. However, K-9 took the dog.

Feb. 9 At 8:31 p.m., Shawn Bell reported that a soft drink machine was broken into at 201 Second St. Bell told police he went to get a soft drink and found the machine damaged with pry marks.

Feb. 9 At 9:27 p.m., Rosalba Campos, Locust Street, reported that three individuals threw something at her upstairs window and had broken two panes of glass.

Feb. 10 At 1 a.m., police took a report of a missing juvenile. He returned later the same day.

Feb. 10 At 11:55 p.m., Kenna Rae Lea reported that her car was egged as she and her husband drove down South Walnut Street. She told police she suspects the egg was thrown from an apartment.

Feb. 11 At 2:41 p.m., Susan Moore, Pearl Street, reported that the drivers side window of her vehicle was broken. There was no indication of what had caused the window to break.

Feb. 11 At 3:11 p.m., police were called to Main Street to check on a dog that a woman reported was malnourished and mistreated. The animal was turned over to animal control.

Feb. 11 At 4:50 p.m., police were notified that Ann Smith changed a statement she previously gave to police regarding having been held against her will.

Feb. 11 At 8:58 p.m., police were called to Penn Street where a mother reported that her 7-year-old son was punched and harassed by a 14-year-old boy. Witnesses told police that harassment was unprovoked. The mother was advised to see the Court Designated Worker to discuss filing charges against the teen.

Feb. 9 At 9:54 p.m., Carter Robinson, Kehoe Alley, reported that he was hot in the back with a two-inch dart while walking in the area of West Pleasant Street and North Locust Street. According to Carter, he was unaware that he had been shot until he arrived at a friends house. The friend noticed the dart in his jacked. The dart is similar to one that would be shot through a blow gun.

Feb. 12 At 5 p.m., Kenny Knipper reported that his neighbor threatened to shoot him and his dog.

Feb. 12 At 6:04 p.m., Kenny Knipper reported being harassed by a juvenile who was revving his motor in front of his house during the day and night.

Feb. 12 At 7:36 p.m., Tracy Ledford reported that she was visiting a friend at Harrison House and was jerked by an individual. The incident, she said, caused further injury to her already injured back.

Feb. 13 At 1:09 p.m., police investigated a fight that had occurred at Charlotte Reffets residence on Pearl Street. The fight was between Darren Wilson and James Perkins.

Feb. 14 At 10:31 a.m., Mindy Ellington, Pleasant Street, reported that someone broke into her home and took her prescriptions, an iPod Shuffle and an MP3 player and cash.

Accident reports

Feb. 6 At 8:11 p.m., Ronnie Slade, 37, Cynthiana, driving a 1999 Chevrolet Colorado, collided with a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero, driven by William D. Edwards, 48, Cynthiana, at the intersection of Pleasant and Walnut streets.

Feb. 7 At 3:04 p.m., Donna Jacobs, 54, Cynthiana, driving a 2002 GM Envoy, backed from a parking space into a 2000 Cavalier, driven by James Johns, 45, Cynthiana. Johns had pulled around from the drive-thru at Kentucky Bank. Jacobs told police she did not see Johns.

Feb. 8 At 2:30 p.m., Frances P. Blackburn, 82, Falmouth, driving a 2002 Buick Century, misjudged clearance on North Church Street and sideswiped a parked 2005 Toyota Scion, owned by Norman Ledford, Paris.

Feb. 7 At 10:55 a.m., Joseph Gatrost, 20, Sadieville, driving a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier, reportedly struck a pedestrian, Carl E. Hogg II, 21, Cynthiana, in the parking lot at MCC/LVC.

Feb. 14 At 7:10 a.m., Henry D. Darnell Jr., 59, Cynthiana, driving a 2000 Dodge Ram, crossed traffic at the intersection of Ladish Road and East Ridge Road and struck a 2005 Hyundai Tiburon, driven by Amber Whalen, 20, Cynthiana.

Arrests, warnings, citations

Feb. 8 -- Jimmie W. Graves, 44, was arrested on North Poplar Street and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

Feb. 8 -- Miquel Garcia, 28, was arrested on East Pike Street and charged with alcohol intoxication.

Feb. 9 -- Matthew Lindsey, 19, was arrested on U.S. 27 North and charged with operating motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs/etc. under aggravated circumstances, no operator's/moped license and possession of alcohol by a minor.

Feb. 10 -- Ernest Pyles, 24, was arrested on Federal Drive on a warrant for parole violation.

Feb. 11 -- Paul Wilson, 18, was cited on Battle Grove Avenue for careless driving, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, no moped/operator's license, vehicle a nuisance, noisy, etc., disregarding stop sign.

Feb. 11 -- Keiron Hill, 18, was cited for speeding 25 mph over limit, careless driving.

Feb. 14 -- Jeffery T. Sizemore, 32, was arrested at 115 Cherokee Drive and charged with theft of controlled substance under $300.
