Case reports

Sept. 10 – At 6:03 p.m., police received a call from the Red Carpet that an individual was assaulted and suspect information was provided.

Sept. 15 – At 9:44 p.m., police arrested Christopher Hurst charging him with criminal mischief. During the process of the arrest, Hurst allegedly dented the rear quarter panel of Sgt. Eric Kendall’s cruiser while resisting arrest.

Sept. 10 – At 5:36 p.m., Jason Darrell reported that the rim of his low-profile tires was damaged when he drove over a metal plate on Bridge Street.

Sept. 16 – At 7:09 p.m., police were called to a Pleasant Street apartment where the resident had been beaten to the point of having a broken nose and brain injury.

Sept. 18 – At 2:08 a.m., Jackie Barnett reported that someone kicked in the door to his Walnut Street residence while he was away. It appeared that the only thing missing was some change and a few dollars from his wife’s purse.

Sept. 18 – At 10:58 p.m., Kendra Skidmore told police that her Elmarch Avenue home was struck by eggs that had apparently been thrown from the street.

Sept. 19 – At 3:35 p.m., police received a report that two women were arguing on Poplar Street and that one of the women spat on the other.

Sept. 20 – At 7:18 a.m., Samantha Hopkins, Broadway, reported that the passenger side of her 2009 Nissan Altima was scratched by a sharp object with estimated damage of $1,500.

Sept. 19 – At  6:51 p.m., Martin A. Taylor, Pike Street, reported that his check book was missing from his apartment.

Sept. 22 – At 11:17 a.m., Richard Williams, Penn Street, reported that someone took his Rolex watch that had been left to him by a deceased family friend. The watch was valued at over $600.

Sept. 22 – At 11:51 p.m., Kylee Slade reported that someone took prescription medication from her residence.

Sept. 17 -- Filberto Garcia, 24, was arrested on U.S. 27 South and charged with alcohol intoxication.

Sept. 17 -- Charli Roberto, 27, was arrested on U.S. 27 South at Fast Maxx and charged with alcohol intoxication.

Sept. 17 -- Fredys M. Portillo Amaya, 25, was cited on East Pleasant Street at Main for having no operator’s license in possession.

Sept. 18 -- Abby J. Switzer, 21, was issued a warning on U.S. 27 South for speeding.

Sept. 18 -- Justin Wagner, 26, was cited on KY 356 at TI Automotive for speeding, 10 mph over the limit.

Sept. 18 -- Mary R. Heimlich, 33, was cited on KY 356 near TI Automotive for speeding 10 mph over the limit.

Sept. 18 -- Michael L. Shaw, 41, was cited on KY 356 at TI Automotive for speeding 10 mph over the limit.

Sept. 18 -- Christopher Berry, 38, was cited on KY 356 at TI Automotive for speeding 10 mph over the limit.

Sept. 18 -- Dale R. Kissinger, 65, was arrested on Marshall Avenue and charged with careless driving and driving under the influence.

Sept. 18 -- Christina L. White, 33, was cited on U.S. 27 South for having no operator’s license in her possession.

Sept. 18 -- Carolyn M. Cheek, 66, was cited on KY 356 at TI Automotive for speeding 10 mph over the limit.

Sept. 19 -- Roy Gary, 49, was arrested at 420 E. Pleasant St. on a bench warrant.

Sept. 20 -- Dudley R. Beagle, 51, was cited on KY 356 for speeding 10 mph over the limit.

Sept. 20 -- Angela Clem, 36, was cited on KY 356 at TI Automotive for speeding 10 mph over the limit.

Sept. 20 -- Daryl R. Brown, 52, was cited on U.S. 27 South at KC Provisions for speeding 10 mph over the limit.

Sept. 20 -- Stacie J. Tarter, 22, was cited on Church Street at Pike for failure to wear seat belts.

Sept. 20 -- Austin C. Risner, 21, was cited on Walnut and Pleasant streets for no seat belt, no insurance, improper registration plate.

Sept. 20 -- James B. Mullins, 22, was cited on Pike at Church streets for no insurance, vehicle a nuisance (noise).

Sept. 20 -- Tanna H. Toller, 37, was cited on Bridge at Walnut streets for improper registration, failure to maintain insurance, failure to notify Department of Transportation of address change and no seat belt.

Sept.20 -- LaDenna J. Hendricks, 61, was cited on Pleasant and Walnut streets for no seat belt.

Sept. 22 -- Trinity Hollar, 34, was cited on Church Street for no registration plates, no insurance, no seat belts and improper start from stopped position.

Sept. 22 -- Charles Ammerman, 18, was cited on Oddville Avenue for speeding 18 mph over the limit.

Sept. 22 -- Raymond Carpenter, 51, was cited on U.S. 27 South for no registration plates, no registration receipt.

Sept. 24 -- James N. Gallagher, 37, was arrested at the Bourbon County Courthouse on warrants.

Sept. 24 -- Anthony W. Kerr, 40, was arrested on Main Street on a warrant.
