Aug. 28 – Candace Slade reported that she was assaulted by two individuals who pushed her out of their vehicle at the Harrison Memorial Hospital parking lot.
Aug. 28 – At 6:30 p.m., police were called to Shell Apple Market where Danny Halley reported that he had been hit over the head with a pipe near his apartment on Main Street. Police cited Mose B. Cundiff charging him with second degree assault.
Aug. 28 – At 10:04 p.m., Barry Dean Turner, Pike Street, reported that a large sum of money was allegedly taken from his residence by his live-in girlfriend and the mother of his child. Police went to Turner’s residence to serve an EPO. Turner then told police about the alleged theft of $265,000. On Sept. 2, KSP took over the theft case after having recovered some of the money.
Aug. 29 – At 3:52 p.m., Judith Tucker, Pleasant Street, reported that it appeared someone had tried to break into her car.
Aug. 29 – At 4:24 p.m., Lisa Wilson, Penn Street, reported that she was yelled at an cussed at by a neighbor’s family member.
Aug. 30 – At 6:05 a.m., a report was made by Ken Morrison of a burglary at Angilo’s. Two individuals had used brute force to bust the glass out of the door. The glass was not broken. A Subway security camera caught the break in. Police cited Austin Lail and Dwayne Moore on charges of third degree burglary and second degree criminal mischief.
Aug. 30 – At 6:07 a.m., Dorsey Eldred, Harrison House, reported that a man who lives on the same floor at the Harrison House is stalking her. The man told police that he is doing nothing to the woman.
Aug. 30 – At 4:45 p.m., John Cowan of Walmart reported that Elizabeth Stanfield allegedly shoplifted Claritin allergy medicine. She was charged with theft by deception, shoplifting.
Aug. 31 – At 1:42 p.m., Seth Smith of Walmart security reported that two shoplifters had just left the store. James Michael Huff and Krystal Berryman allegedly tried to return merchandise they had just taken from the store. They were picked up on Ladish Road and charged with theft by deception, shoplifting.
Aug. 31 – At 4:36 p.m., Estill Barnett reported that he had received a harassing text message from an individual and wanted it documented.
Aug. 31 – At 5:07 p.m., Seth Smith of Walmart security, reported that Vicky Howard entered the store and purchased several items. However, she was also reported witnessed putting items into her purse and leaving the store without paying. She was cited for theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting.
Aug. 31 – At 6:37 p.m., a report was made concerning juveniles who were allegedly being assaulted by foster parents. The allegations were to be reported to CHR.
Sept. 1 – At 8:26 a.m., Candace Beagle, Pike Street, reported that someone had damaged her car. A concrete statue was thrown through the back window.
Sept. 1 – At 3:51 a.m., police arrested a woman on Western Avenue who allegedly drove to Ohio and took her three children from her sister, who has custody. Francis Martinez was arrested and charged with custodial interference.
Sept. 1 – At 7:09 p.m., Ptl. Nathan Linville allegedly witnessed Jared Buenrostro operating his Honda Passport on North Locust Street and suspected the driver to be under the influence. Buenrostro was given field sobriety tests and was ultimately charged with operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and possession of open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.
Sept. 1 – At 9:21 p.m., Greg Silva, Elmarch Avenue, reported that a 16-inch aluminum Dodge rim was taken from his carport.
Sept. 2 – At 12:58 p.m., Kathy Hatton reported that she had received a phone call from a man on whom she has a no-contact EPO.
Sept. 2 – At 1:55 p.m., Lea Baker, Elmarch Avenue, reported that an individual had taken $120 from her residence.
Sept. 3 – At 9:48 a.m., Rachel Chibera, Oddville Avenue reported that someone took her wallet containing a bank card and $300 cash from her truck overnight.
Sept. 3 – At 11:02 a.m., Irvin Toadvine, Charlotte Drive, reported that someone had removed $300 worth of tools from his truck.
Sept. 3 – At 4 p.m., Lerone D. Switzer-Gross, Newsome Avenue, reported that a faceplate from his car stereo had been taken while the vehicle was parked on Elmarch Avenue.
Sept. 3 – At 7:05 p.m., police were called to Walmart where a bag of marijuana was found near a cash register on the grocery side.
Sept. 3 -- At 7:44 p.m., Seth Smith of Walmart security reported that Tracey Warmouth had taken items from the store without paying. She was served a no trespass order from the store and charged with theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting.
Sept. 4 – At 12:22 p.m., police intervened in a case where a family was homeless and apparently sleeping in their vehicle.
Sept. 4 – At 3:59 p.m., police were advised of a juvenile worker at Save-A-Lot being harassed by a man who has been following her around inside the store.
Sept. 4 – At 4:55 p.m., Jeff Wilson, Marshall Avenue, reported that his credit and EBT card were taken from his residence.
Sept. 5 – At 4:08 p.m., a 15-year-old girl contacted police and explained that she wanted to live with her grandmother because her father’s home was dirty and there was never enough to eat in the home.
Sept. 6 – At 8:06 a.m., Geneva Dennis reported that she struck something in the roadway on Oddville Avenue that damaged he oil pan on her car.
Sept. 6 – At 8:13 p.m., a report was made of a vehicle on Old Lair Road traveling recklessly. The witness reported that the vehicle pulled over and the driver pulled out a black rifle with a scope.
Sept. 6 – At 8:17 p.m., police were called to an alleged burglary on Newsome Avenue. While there they witnessed an assault on a juvenile and a plate of pills and crushed up pills in the living room of the residence. Police charged Diana Hicks, Charles Tucker and Billy Combs.
Sept. 7 -- At 7:34 a.m., Jacinda Morris reported that she and her husband are being harassed and threatened.
Sept. 7 – At 7:39 a.m., a Pleasant Street woman reported that her children are being harassed and bullied by the children across the street.
Sept. 7 – At 8:10 a.m., Patricia Walker, Maple Street, reported that someone had gone through her vehicle overnight and removed a laptop and her grandson’s school back that contained his school books and binders.
Sept. 8 – At 8:18 a.m., Tabitha Wilson, Newsome Avenue, reported that someone scratched her vehicle with what appeared to be keys.
Sept. 8 – At 7:23 p.m., Seth Smith of Walmart security, reported that an unknown person, who had already left the store, had taken two sound systems out the door without paying for them.
Sept. 9 – At 6:44 p.m., a report was made by a juvenile that her class ring was taken from her mother’s dresser. The ring is valued at $325.
Sept. 15 –At 5:07 p.m., James Sparks reported that a credit card had been opened in his name without his permission.
Sept. 10 – At 10:04 p.m., Quintana Palmer, Sadieville, reported that a .22 pistol was taken from her glove box. She told police she had picked up two individuals at Shell and dropped them off on Second Street.
Sept. 12 – At 11 a.m., police were called to Walmart for a counterfeit $20.
Sept. 13 – At 7:36 a.m., police were dispatched to Thrift Food Mart for a report of counterfeit $10 bill.

Aug. 31 -- Krystal L. Berryman, 27, was arrested on U.S. 27 South at Walmart and charged with theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting.

Huff, 26, was arrested on Court Street on Harrison County warrants for operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license and failure to notify DOT of address change; at Walmart on a charge of theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting; and three Jessamine County warrants for fraudulent use of credit card (two counts within six months), receiving stolen property and fourth degree assault, domestic violence.
