Aug. 6 – At 2:48 p.m., Clayton Griess, U.S.27, reported that his Winchester rifle was on the wall at Bell’s Sporting Goods and that it had been stolen from him over two years ago. Police traced the rifle and could not establish that Griess had owned the gun. The investigation is continuing with ATF involved in a trace to identify who the owners of the gun have been in recent years.
