July 17 – At 7:44 a.m., Larry Williams, Smith Avenue, reported that his daughter’s bicycle was taken from his front porch the night before. He also found a number of items that did not belong to him lying next to his house. Williams also found a purse along Broadway and Second Street. The purse contained a large amount of Twinkie, donuts and Ho Ho snack cakes. A juvenile neighbor also advised police that his car had been gone through while it was parked on Broadway and that $45 was missing from his uncle’s vehicle.
