April 16 – At 12:01 a.m., Jessica Long, Mt. Olivet, reported that an individual was was “jumped and robbed” on Pearl Street. She said she heard the disturbance and hid in the closet. Tommy Hunt and Joshua Stanfield were injured after someone knocked at the door and said they were the police. Hunt told police he would not open the door, but his brother did and two black men wearing bandanas started hitting Stanfield. Hunt called 911. One of the subjects had been wearing brass knuckles.
