Sept. 15 – At 3:59 p.m., police were stopped regarding animal complaint at 136 Highland Ave. Officers found three Yorkies pinned in one small crate with water and no food. The dogs also appeared to be heavily infested with fleas. Animal control also seized a German Shepherd that had a bad flea problem and was undernourished. Police left the residence but went back later that night with Animal Control and seized the Yorkies. Owner Crystal Adams told police the dogs were outside in the crate because the house was being “bombed” for fleas.
