Cynthiana Bulldog Week planned

I am writing to tell your readers about the annual celebration of Cynthiana High School.
The dinner and celebration will take place at the Elks Club on Saturday, June 25, 2011, starting at 5 p.m.
Reservations for the dinner, catered by Layne Tussey, can be made by calling Elaine P. Blackburn at 859-234-5689. Tickets can be purchased at Whalen’s Jewelry, the museum, Farmer’s National Bank and Chase Jewelers. The cost is $15 per person.
A silent auction/fund raiser will be held. If you would like to donate an item, or if you have questions, call 859-234-4651.
As in the past, local merchants have recognized graduates and friends by participating in the celebration of CHS Week, which starts June 20. We have previously enjoyed the store fronts that were decorated in Bulldog green and white and CHS memorabilia. We thank you for your past efforts and invite you to do this again this year during CHS Week, June 20-25.
On  Friday evening, June 24, and at noon on Saturday, June 25, CHS alumni and guests will gather at Biancke’s to spend time together and enjoy the pictures of our graduating classes and other memorabilia. We invite all friends of CHS to join us. We would love to see you.
Again, thank you. Your generous spirit in welcoming CHS alumni and friends reminds all of us of our youthful days and the good times spent in Cynthiana.
