Cynthiana bank robbed Monday

For the third time in less than a year, a Harrison County bank has been robbed.

The main branch of Harrison Deposit Bank, at Pike and Walnut streets in Cynthiana, was robbed early Monday morning and the suspect is still at large.

An alarm was activated at 9:33 a.m. and 9-1-1 dispatch was notified by phone a minute later that the bank had been hit and police were immediately sent to the scene.
