Cross Country is one of many sports that new technology hasn’t helped much so running on the new course at Pendleton County Saturday didn’t mean that the runners were on an artificial surface.
The new course, while nice, was still slick and muddy from the rainfall of the two previous days which made for a difficult running surface for all competitors.
The Fillies’ top runner, Erin Bradford, came back from a fall to run mud-covered to a 10th place finish to lead the Fillies.
