The Harrison County Fiscal Court Tuesday held discussions on its options to clean up a property which has been the subject of nuisance complaints for several years.
District 4 Magistrate Jerry Dawson asked the court if the countys nuisance ordinance would allow for the county to clean up a property and place a lien on it to recover the costs.
He was referring to a piece of land on Ky. 982 (Edgewater Pike) which has several stripped down mobile homes on it.
It was one of the first ones to be brought before the court, Dawson said, referring to the nuisance ordinance.
