Contest winners

Winners of the Martin Luther King Jr. Poetry and Art contest were: Art: first place-Elaine Vaughn, second-Kaitlyn Fitzpatrick, third-Alura Schaum and Honorable Mention-Kara Hines; Poetry: first place-Will Lucky, second-Logan Cummins, third-Ian Boland, and Honorable Mention-John Alexander. Adult winner (poetry)-Michael Stephens. The Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library sponsored the contest for third grade through adult. It was a successful program with over 50 entries in the art category and over 70 for poetry.
