To the editor:
What is wrong with the parents, teachers and students of Harrison County? Brandi Ballinger, Tyler Bledsoe and Kodi Hogg; three young people with their whole lives in front of them committed suicide and no one took the time to try and stop them.
Not one student told a teacher, not one teacher took the time or showed interest enough in them to ask them if something was wrong and if they could help.
Someone had to know that something was bothering these kids. If someone had just taken the time to ask three simple words, “Are you okay?” it might have made them see that someone cared and could possibly have saved their lives.
