Tomatoes, squash, zucchini, spinach, lettuce, carrots, strawberries, cantaloupe, lima beans and green beans - Josie Daily grew them all in her garden last year.
“I like gardening,” Daily said Monday morning. “I like being outside.”
Last summer was Daily’s first garden and she said she soon learned the benefits of home-grown produce.
“It’s rewarding and it saves you money,” she said.
Living in town, Daily used an empty 25-foot-long row in the landscaping around her house for her large variety of produce.
