Champions for a Drug Free Harrison County. Champions for a Drug Free Harrison County will meet June 9 at 5:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office. There will be no meeting in July.
Bookmobile. The Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library Bookmobile will be available Monday, June 9 at Community Action Childcare Center and Harrison County Adult Care Center from 10:30 a.m.-Noon; Hinton, 3 p.m.

TUESDAY, June 10
Bailey Bunch will meet Tuesday, June 10 at 11:30 a.m. at Paula’s Restaurant. Donations will be taken for the scholarship fund.
Cynthiana City Commission will meet Tuesday, June 10, 5:30 p.m., upstairs City Hall in the commissioners’ room. The meetings are open to the public.
Fiscal Court of Harrison County will meet Tuesday, June 10, 5:30 p.m., meeting room at the Harrison County Sheriff’s building (former KU building). The meetings are open to the public.
Storytime: Dads. Tuesday, June 10 at 10 a.m. at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library for ages 6 months through 5 years.

Harrison County Fair Sing.
Anyone wanting to participate in this year’s fair sing (Christian, Gospel, Bluegrass), on Sunday, July 6th at 6:30 p.m. please contact Dawn Arnold at 588-0339.
Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. Due to construction of the public library addition, all programs will take place at the Cynthiana Presbyterian Church starting on June 10. Parking available in the church lot.
Free Child Development Program. If 51% of your income is from agricultural work, may be eligible for free child care services (age 6 weeks to 5 years old). Contact Community Action Council at 234-2121 or stop by the center located at 217 Old Lair Rd., Cynthiana. Items need to complete application are proof of birth, immunization record, past 12 months of income and documentation indicating 51% of income is in agriculture work.
FFA Greenhouse. The FFA greenhouse is now open for business with several flowers, ferns, hanging baskets, and vegetables.  Greenhouse hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
CHS Alumni Banquet. The Cynthiana High School Alumni Banquet will be held Saturday, June 28 at The Prizing House, Church Street. Tickets are available at Biancke’s, Cynthiana-Harrison County Museum, Farmer’s Bank on US 27 South, and Ewalts Jewelry. Advance tickets will be available until June 14 for $20. Limited number of tickets at the door, $25. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30.
Friday Night Flix. Every Friday night in June at Flat Runs Veterans Park. Presented by Living Free Community. Activities begin at 7 p.m. and movie at dusk. Watch a family movie under the stars. Drug free zone. Bring own chairs and blankets. Concession available.
Berry City Commission will meet Thursday, June 12 at 7 p.m., at Berry City Hall. The meetings are open to the public.
Cynthiana Chapter DAR will hold a dedication ceremony on Saturday, June 14 at 2 p.m. at Battle Grove Cemetery to honor past members Anna McKee and Dorothea Douglas. Refreshments to follow. The public is invited to attend.
Exploring the Writer’s Craft. July 12 at 8:30 a.m. at Jefferson Community and Technical College, 505 Buffalo Run Rd., Shepherdsville, Ky. All writers (male and female), in all genres, across the region, are invited to the third annual writing workshop organized by Women Who Write. Featured speakers include prolific Chicago novelist and NYT bestselling biographer Alanna Nash, plus others. HMH At Work Series with Weight Watchers is in need of 20 people to sign up for the next series which will start June 16. Planning Commission of Cynthiana, Harrison County, Berry will meet Monday, June 16, 7:30 p.m., at the sheriff’s office. The meetings are open to the public.
Robinson County Historical Society Annual Picnic. Monday, June 16 at 6 p.m., the Robinson County Historical Society will have its annual picnic at Blue Licks State Resort Park at the Shelter House above the swimming pool. The picnic will be a potluck dinner.

The Harrison County Community Health Fair is Wednesday, June 18. The event will be at the Harrison County Middle School from 7-11 a.m.
