Berry City Commission will meet Thursday, April 10 at 7 p.m., at Berry City Hall. The meetings are open to the public.

FRIDAY, April 11
Author Visit.
Friday, April 11 at 5:30 p.m. at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. The event will be held in the main library. Kim Vogel Sawyer will be sharing passages from her upcoming release Through The Deep Waters. She will also have previously released books available for purchase.

SATURDAY, April 12
The Cynthiana-Harrison County Republican Party
will host the annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Saturday, April 12 at the Harrison County Extension Office, 668 New Lair Rd. Come out and meet the local candidates as well as Mayor Mark Hart, Candidate for State Representative and featured speaker, Candidate for Ky Governor, Hal Heiner. Meet and Greet from 6-7 p.m. with dinner starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25. For more information contact Mike Fisher at 234-6394.
The Cynthiana Chapter of the DAR will meet April 12 at 2 p.m. in the Harrison County Health Center community room. Program will be by Chris Browning of Maysville College on ‘Women in History.’ Refreshments will be served. Those interested in attending call 859-907-3111.

Champions For A Drug-Free Harrison County
will meet Monday, April 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department. Meetings are held the second Monday of each month.

Cocaine Anonymous.
Daniel Cullen is looking for a location to begin a Cocaine Anonymous group. It is a non-profit group and operates on the same premise as Alcoholic Anonymous. Cullen said he is looking for help to settle into a location. Anyone with suggestions, contact Cullen at 859-954-0686.
Harrison County Historical Society will meet April 17 at 7 p.m. in the Charles W. Feix community room. Tonya Northcutts’ Northside Elementary students will present American Revolutionary War character enactments.
American Girl Activity Club for grades Kindergarten through 5th. Thursday, April 17 at 5:30 p.m. Will be learning about Spanish culture and the settlement of America’s southwest with Josefina from 1824. American Girl Activity Club is made possible in part by a donation in memory of Marquerite “Sug” Kuster.
Southside Council. Southside Elementary School Site Base Decision Council will meet Thursday, April 17 at 4 p.m. in the school library. The community is welcome to attend.
All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes with sausage, coffee, milk and orange juice, April 19 from 8-11 a.m. at Southside Elementary School cafeteria. Cost is $6 per person, $2 for 10 years and under. The Frankie Taylor Memorial Community Easter Egg Hunt to follow at 11 a.m. at Ingles Stadium.
Euchre Tournament. Cynthiana #127 Odd Fellows Lodge is hosting a euchre tournament on Saturday, April 19 at the lodge on 106 Main Street. Entry fee is $10 per individual with a payout of 50 percent for first place, 30 percent for second, and 20 percent for third. Cynthiana-Harrison County Parks and Recreation Committee will meet on Monday, April 21 at 5 p.m. at River Road Park. This meeting is open to the public.

HCHS Class of 1957. The Harrison County High School Class of 1957 will meet at Biancke’s at noon on April 21.
Women’s Health Issues Seminar. Monday, April 21 at the Harrison County Extension Office. Registration begins at 5 p.m. The seminar is free and a meal will be provided to the first 100 registered participants. Tickets for the event are available at the Extension office. Antioch-Robinson Homemaker Club meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 6 PM at the Antioch Mills Christian Church on US HWY 27 North. We enjoy getting together for fellowship as well as learning new information on various topics from the lessons and min-lessons.
A Veterans Field Representative is available on the third Tuesday of each month at the County Sheriff’s office in Cynthiana from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. This service is free of charge. Veterans and their dependents will receive assistance filing for Federal and State veterans benefits. Veterans need to furnish copies of pertinent documentation to verify eligibility. Young Farmers. The Harrison County Young Farmers will be meeting in the Harrison County High School ag room on Monday nights at 7 p.m. Anyone interested in becoming a member is welcome to attend.
