Museum Open House. The Cynthiana-Harrison County Museum will observe its 19th anniversary with an open house on Friday, July 19. Free admission, refreshments. A special tribute to Harold Slade during Coffee Break.

Bake Sale. The Berry United Methodist Church will hold a bake sale at Walmart, Cynthiana, on Saturday, July 20 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds to benefit the church building fund.

Harrison County Board of Education will meet Tuesday, July 23, 7 p.m., at the Community Education Building. The meetings are open to the public.
Cynthiana City Commission will meet Tuesday, July 23, 5:30 p.m., upstairs City Hall in the commissioners’ room. The meetings are open to the public.
Fiscal Court of Harrison County will meet Tuesday, July 23, 5:30 p.m., meeting room at the Harrison County Sheriff’s building (former KU building). The meetings are open to the public.

Harrison County Republican Party meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month. Meetings are held in the Sheriff’s Office at 7 p.m.
Harrison County Clothes Closet. A new drop box is now located in the back parking lot of Cynthiana Baptist Church, and is in need of coats (all sizes) and blankets.
