Humane Society Yard Sale. The Humane Society of Harrison County will hold a yard sale at Cynthiana Presbyterian Church. Donations: June 6 at 6 p.m.; Sale: June 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and June 8 from 10 a.m. to noon. Donations are tax deductible and will be used to promote animal welfare in Harrison County.

Summer Movies. The Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library will be showing movies beginning Friday, June 7 at 7 p.m. at the library for ages 13+. Showing will be Les Miserables in the main library. Pre-register and receive a free popcorn and drink.

2013 Salvation Army Summer Camp. The Salvation Army-Harrison County Service Unit is sponsoring a Summer Camp, July 1-6, for the youth of Harrison County, boys and girls from 7-12 years of age, at the Salvation Army KY-Tenn Division Camp Paradise Valley on Dale Hollow Lake. The camp is offered free of charge to all Harrison County children and includes transportation and lunch to and from the camp. Robertson County Historical Society reminds all veterans, past or present, alive or passed on, to bring their photos, name of service, years, rank, where served to the Robertson County Library. All photos will be returned. Don’t delay. They are needed to be placed in the Veteran’s Book.
Harrison County Fair-Vendors Square Applications. The Harrison County Fair is now accepting applications for non-food vendors to set-up at the 2013 fair scheduled for July 8-13.
