The Humane Society of Harrison County will host a Spring open house at the Flora Shropshire Animal Shelter, 1751 New Lair Rd., on Saturday, April 20 from noon to 3 p.m. Refreshments provided. Co-Ed Adult Volleyball Registration. The Cynthiana-Harrison County Parks and Recreation Department is now registering for Co-Ed Adult Volleyball. Registration deadline is Friday, April 26. 2013 Salvation Army Summer Camp. The Salvation Army-Harrison County Service Unit is sponsoring a Summer Camp for the youth of Harrison County, boys and girls from 7-12 years of age, and will take place July 1-6 at the Salvation Army KY-Tenn Division Camp Paradise Valley on Dale Hollow Lake. The camp is located in Burkesville, Ky. and is offered free of charge to all children that are residents of Harrison County without regard of financial background and includes transportation and lunch to and from the camp.
