Blood Drive. Friday, May 25 from 2-7 p.m. at Walmart in Cynthiana, US 27 S. on the KBC Bloodmobile. Every donor will receive a $10 Walmart gift card.
SATURDAY, May 26
Oddville Alumni Dinner. Saturday, May 26 at Cynthiana Christian Church fellowship hall. Everyone who attended Oddville or have be a part of the school and their guest are invited. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., dinner at 6. $18 per person pre-payment is requested. Berry United Methodist Bake Sale. Saturday, May 26, a bake sale will be held at Walmart in Cynthiana. The sale will begin at 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Baked goods and hotdogs and hamburgers will be available for sale.

Memorial Service. A memorial ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 27 at 9 a.m. at Beard’s Cemetery in Davis, Ky. (located between Connersville and Sadieville). Everyone welcome.
MONDAY, May 28
Library Closed. Monday, May 28 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
Civil War Collectors. Meeting planned Saturday, June 2 from 9-10 a.m. at 111 Court Street (the Old Log Cabin) with an indoor tabletop exhibit. If interested or for details call 502-867-7524.
Summer Food Service Program. The Harrison County Board of Education is participating in the Summer Food Service Program with meals provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at the River Road Park, June 4-July 27, 2012, from noon to 12:30 p.m. No meal service will be provided on July 4.

Fair Community Gospel Sing. Yazell Family Donations. Journey Church has opened an account for donations for Glen Jr. and Ashley Yazell at Harrison Deposit Bank and Trust to help with the funeral expense of their daughter and son, Carley Nicole (March 19) and Glen Ray ‘Trace’ Yazell III (March 23).
Clothing Closet. The Clothing Closet is now ready with summer clothing and will now be open on the last Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Closet is located at 103 N. Main (beside Cynthiana Presbyterian Church) and open Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 3:30 p.m.
