MCTC Art Show. Maysville Community and Technical College-Licking Valley Campus, Cynthiana, will hold an art show on March 9 from 4-6 p.m. Local artists, faculty members, administration and students will have their art work on display. Artist Herbert A. Moore will be installed as Artist in Residence. Everyone welcome for the afternoon show. Entertainment with live music and refreshments.

Clothing Closet. The Clothing Closet will now be open on the last Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Closet is located at 103 N. Main (beside Cynthiana Presbyterian Church) and open Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 3:30 p.m.
Magical March Madness. Thursday, March 15 at 5 p.m. in the children’s library at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. This program is for ages 4 and up. Pre-registration is appreciated.
Rebel in the White House. Thursday, March 15 at 7 p.m. at Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. Chautauqua performer and Cynthiana citizen Betsy Smith will be performing. This is a free event and open to the public. The program is an exclusive presentation of the Kentucky Humanities Council, Inc. It is sponsored by the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library and the Harrison County Historical Society.
Hunger Games Program. Friday, March 16 from 1-3 p.m. for ages 8 and up at Flat Run Veterans Park. In case of rain the program will take place in the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library annex. Pre-registration is appreciated.

New this year will be a complete blood count. Young Farmers. The Harrison County Young Farmers will be meeting in the Harrison County High School ag room on Monday nights at 7 p.m. Anyone interested in becoming a member is welcome to attend.

On Display. During the month of January the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library is hosting two different displays in the front foyer. As you enter the library the left side features a portion of the snowman collection of Tracye Young while the right side features a display honoring African Americans created by Terry Harris. Coming up in February will be a display honoring the contributions of African Americans of Cynthiana.
LVBPW Meeting. The Licking Valley Business and Professional Women’s meets the second Wednesday of each month at Biancke’s Restaurant at noon, with a guest speaker. Interested and new members are welcome.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meets the second and fourth Thursdays of every month from 9 to 11:45 a.m. at Indian Creek Christian Church. Come join other moms for food, fun and fellowship.
