TUESDAY, Jan. 10
Cynthiana City Commission will meet Tuesday, Jan. 10, 5:30 p.m., upstairs City Hall in the commissioners’ room. The meetings are open to the public.
Fiscal Court of Harrison County will meet Tuesday, Jan. 10, 5:30 p.m., meeting room at the Harrison County Sheriff’s building (former KU building). The meetings are open to the public.

HCHS Council Rescheduled. The Harrison County High School Site Based Decision Making Council's regular meeting scheduled for Jan. 3 at 4 p.m. has been rescheduled to Jan. 4 at 4 p.m. in the school library.
Northside Council. The Northside Elementary Site Based Council will meet Thursday, Jan. 12 at 3:45 p.m. in the school library. The public is invited to attend.
Berry City Commission will meet Thursday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m., at Berry City Hall. The meetings are open to the public.
HCHS Class of 1957. The Harrison County High School Class of 1957 will meet at Biancke's on Jan. 16 at noon.
Planning Commission of Cynthiana, Harrison County, Berry will meet Monday, Jan. 16, 7:30 p.m., at the sheriff’s office. The meetings are open to the public.
Southside Council. Southside Elementary Site Based Decision Making Council will meet Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 4:30 p.m. in the school library. The public is welcome to attend. Anyone knowing of items needed for the meeting agenda should submit those in writing to the principal no less than five days before the meeting date.
Pike Street Opry. Rohs Opera House to present Pike Street Opry on Friday, Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at Biancke's and Rohs Opera House.
Harrison County Board of Education will meet Tuesday, Jan. 24, 7 p.m., at the Community Education Building. The meetings are open to the public.
Clothing Closet. The Clothing Closet boxes for donations have been moved to the Food Lion parking lot. Clothes are still needed. The Closet is located at 103 N. Main (beside Cynthiana Presbyterian Church) and is open Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 3:30 p.m.
Children’s Story Time. Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and at 4:30 p.m. at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library.
Free Computer Classes. The Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library is providing free computer classes. Call 234-4881 to find out about class offerings or visit the website at www.cynthianalibrary.org.
LVBPW Meeting. The Licking Valley Business and Professional Women's meets the second Wednesday of each month at Biancke's Restaurant at noon, with a guest speaker. Interested and new members are welcome.
Harrison County Fire Protection District meets at 6 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, 113 W. Pike St., Cynthiana. Open to the public.
A Veterans Field Representative is available on the third Tuesday of each month at the County Sheriff's office in Cynthiana from 1-4 p.m. This service is free of charge. Agent Orange registration is also available. For more information or to make an appointment, call 1-800-747-9963.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meets the second and fourth Thursdays of every month from 9 to 11:45 a.m. at Indian Creek Christian Church. Come join other moms for food, fun and fellowship. Harrison County Veterans are eligible for interment in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, Ky. Spouses and other eligible dependents may qualify for interment as well.
