Spinning. Thursday, June 30 starting at 6 p.m. at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. Learn how to use a drop spindle to hand spin yarn to use in knitting, weaving, crocheting, etc. Spinning is an ancient art still being practiced around the world. The class will be taught by local artisan: Sara Dunham of Equinox Farm. She will have kits available for purchase that evening for $12.50 each. Each kit will include (spindle, wool roving and instructions). Kit purchase is not required to attend the class.
