Paris Kiwanis Club to hold a Corn Hole Tournament on Thursday, April 21 at the big building at Legion Park in Paris. Pre K and Kindergarten Registration for the 2011-2012 school year will be held for all elementary schools at the Harrison County Board of Education, 308 Webster Ave. on Wednesday, May 18 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Thursday, May 19 from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Children entering kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before Oct. 1, 2011. They are required to have birth certificate, social security card, current immunization certificate, physical, dental screening and eye screening upon school entrance. You must have a copy of the original birth certificate from Frankfort to register your child(ren). You can pick up birth certificate applications at the Community Education Center or the local Health Department. Physicals and immunizations will be available on day of registration. Children entering Pre-K for the first time must be 3 years old on or before Oct. 1, 2011. Pre K students need the same information and in addition, they will need a statement of income for the last 12 months, lead screening, social security card for everyone in household, and copy of medical card, if applicable.
