"Mission accomplished," say members of the Recreation Park Planning Committee.
After having served since 2003, shortly after the city and county governments purchased the 120-acre Handy Farm on Oddville Avenue, committee members voted Monday night to disband.
According to committee chairman, Rick Chasteen, the committee was charged with getting a plan for the park that would offer a variety of recreation.
