Class of 2008 graduation is May 30

After a school year with many highs and lows, the Class of 2008 is prepared to cross the stage at Ingles Stadium.

Commencement exercises are set for next Friday, May 30, starting at 7:30 p.m.

Although it was thought last year would be the final year for commencement at the football stadium - it was supposed to be demolished last fall in preparation for a new facility, a change of plans by the state spared the field making it available for this year's crop of grads.

The alternative plan in case of rain is to use the high school gym.
