Look for changes ahead in the section of Church Street between Bridge and Pike streets.
The Cynthiana City Commission agreed Tuesday night to send a letter of support to the state Department of Transportation’s plan to return parking to the east side of Church Street.
Commissioner Roger Slade told commissioners that business owner Terry Herrington had approached the state and an agreement was reached.
Cynthiana Police Chief Ray Johnson said he thought the street was wide enough to accommodate parking on one side.
