The second reading of an ordinance increasing water rates was approved at Tuesday evening’s city commission meeting.
Commissioner Amanda Moore asked how much the increase will be for an average household each month.
Commissioner Mark Mattmiller said the average household uses 4,500 gallons of water per month and will see a $2.17 increase on their water bill.
Moore voted against the second reading of the resolution.
