Evangelist Dan Frederick, who has shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ in many area Churches and Camp Meetings will be the featured speaker at Benson United Methodist Church on Friday, Sept. 24, Saturday Sept. 25, and concluding for the 9 a.m. service on Sunday at Benson United Methodist Church. Friday and Saturday revival services begin at 7 p.m.

Frederick’s ministry of Evangelism started in the local pastorate, where he served small United Methodist Churches in Kentucky, each of which grew in numbers during his tenure. He was assigned to “Evangelistic Work”, and has ministered throughout nine states.

The Frederick Ministries are a non-profit ministry that welcomes the opportunity to serve wherever they are sent to use their talents in music, teaching, and preaching. Everyone, regardless of religious affiliation, is welcome to these services.

Benson United Methodist Church is located just off US 27 N., turn at KY 1744, with the church just a half- mile on the left from that intersection. Services start at 7 p.m. each evening. Your host pastor is the Rev. John “Woody” Woodford.

The United Methodist Scholarship Fellowship will be held at Benson United Methodist Church on Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. Your support is appreciated for this worthy cause.


Central Christian Church will be holding a revival Sept. 26-29. Services will begin at 6:30 p.m. each evening. Bro. Jason Anderson is the evangelist. Join us as Anderson brings the Word each night. This will be a time of revival, renewal and worship.


An informal Christian Home Fellowship meets the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 6-8 p.m. for more information call Janet at 859-954-1145.


The Church of God, Webster Avenue, will hold a yard sale Oct. 1 and 2 beginning at 9 a.m. Will be selling chili dogs and soft drinks. Proceeds will go towards Christmas gifts for the children.



A potluck and ice cream social will be held Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. at Colemansville Christian Church, 7171 Ky. Hwy. 1032 W, to dedicate the new outdoor facility. Everyone is welcome to attend.


A gospel music concert will take place Saturday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. in the park in Millersburg, Ky.

Featured will be River of Life Worship team, Betsy and Albert Mitchell, and Mary Campbell.

Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music. The event is sponsored by Mt. Moving Ministries.


Rev. William Gaunce and the Hour of Deliverance Chapel, along with the Earl Gross and Time of Harvest Ministries would like to welcome you to our monthly outreach ministry on the old courthouse grounds beginning at 6 p.m.

This month’s ministry will be held on Sept. 25.

The monthly hymn sing at the Hour of Deliverance Chapel at 120 Second Street, Cynthiana, will be held on Sunday evening, Sept. 26, beginning at 6 p.m. Every one in the community is invited to attend.

Earl Gross will also be at Reeds Apple Orchard on Oct. 2 at 10:30 a.m.

Macedonia Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming on Sunday, Oct. 3. The Rev. James Custard from First Nepton Baptist Church will preach the morning service.

At 3:30 p.m. the Rev. Samuel Peoples from Broadway Baptist Church, Winchester, Ky., will be the guest preacher.

At 5 p.m. Seven Quarter Singers from Lexington will present their program.



Pleasant Green Baptist Church is planning a revival Sept. 26-29. Sunday service is 10:45 a.m. and evening service is at 6 p.m.; Monday-Wednesday will be at 7 p.m.

Different speakers and singers at each service. Due to rebuilding of the church, services will be held at the shelter. We will have chairs, but are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

Wagoner’s Chapel Church will host their annual Homecoming Sunday, Oct. 3. Morning worship will be at 11 a.m. and a potluck lunch at 12:30 p.m. with an afternoon service.
