The Berry United Methodist Church will serve cajun food on Friday, June 19 from 6 p.m. to close and Saturday, June 20 from 11 a.m. to close. Cost is $5 per plate, plus cost of drink. Breakfast will also be served by the Berry United Methodist Church at the Berry Festival on Saturday, June 20 from 8 to 10:30 a.m.


Vacation Bible School

Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy learning, singing, crafts and recreation at Camp E.D.G.E. at Boyers Chapel Methodist Church. VBS will be held June 10, 17, 24, and July 1 and 8 from 6-8 p.m. All age groups are welcome to attend including adults.

There will be a potluck dinner on Sunday, June 7 to kickoff the event. Pastor is Barry Holland.


Vacation Bible School

Central Christian Church is hosting Vacation Bible School Monday, June 22-Friday, June 26 from 6-8:30 p.m. Classes are offered from Pre-K through sixth grade. All children are welcome.

Come join us as we go to the “Son Rock Kids Camp” for fun and adventure. Everyone will make crafts, hear Bible stories, eat snacks, play games and sing camp songs.

There will be a pre-registration cookout in the church parking lot on Saturday, June 20 at 4:30 p.m. There will be food, games and fun. Come register early for VBS.

Vacation Bible School will be held at Claysville Christian Church June 22-26 from 6-8 p.m.

A closing VBS program will be held Sunday, June 28 at 9:30 a.m.

The Blue Licks potluck lunch will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 28.


 Upward soccer sign-ups begin June 23 and end June 27, at Connersville Christian Church, 2190 Ky. Hwy. 1842 E.

Everyone must attend one soccer evaluation.

Kindergarten through sixth grade boys/girls: Tuesday, June 23 between 6 and 8 p.m.; Thursday, June 25 between 6 and 8 p.m.; and Saturday, June 27 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Cynthiana First Church of God will be hosting a Dave Ramsey Live Event via Nationwide Simulcast on Saturday, Sept. 19. The cost for this event is $25 per person which include a ticket to the event, five hours of financial guidance and a course workbook. You can purchase a ticket by calling the church at 234-3845 or going online to DaveRamsey.com. If you buy your ticket online, you will need to print your ticket at home and bring it to the event. Your workbook will be mailed to the church. This event is a great opportunity to learn how to control your money instead of your money controlling you.


Ribbon Cutting/Dedication

The pastor and members of Union Baptist Church announce that the new fellowship hall has been completed. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication on Sunday, June 28 at 2:30 p.m.

Everyone is invited. Light refreshments will be served.
