ANTIOCH MILLS CHRISTIAN

Antioch Mills Christian Church in Berry will sponsor an Easter Art Show on Easter Sunday, April 4. Participants can prepare a drawing or a painting with five different age divisions. Cash prizes for the winners will be awarded.

 All works should be based on Luke 23:26-49.

Age divisions are 8 and under; 9 to 13; 14 to 18; 19 to 49 and over 50.  Participants are limited two entries per person with a maximum size of 20-inch-by-24-inch. All entries must be labeled with the following information on the back: Artist’s name and age, phone number, category and title.  Participants can drop off artwork at Antioch Mills between Monday, March 29, and Wednesday, March 31 at 4 p.m.

COLEMANSVILLE CHRISTIAN

The following activities are planned for Easter Sunday, April 4 at Colemansville Christian Church:

A traditional Easter sunrise service will be held at 8:30 a.m. This will be followed by an Easter fellowship breakfast at 9 a.m.

The regular Easter worship service will begin at 10 a.m.   Following the morning worship, there will be a traditional Easter Egg hunt for all children.

CYNTHIANA BAPTIST CHURCH

Cynthiana Baptist Church Children’s Ministry invites all families to join in for an All Around Easter Celebration on Saturday, March 27, 2 p.m., at Little Switzerland Church Park on Old Lair Road.  Children up to fifth grade and their families will explore the events of Easter together in six stations. 

This is an exciting new way to teach children what Easter is really all about. The festivities will conclude with an Easter egg hunt. No RSVP is necessary. Contact the church at 859-234-1575 for more information or visit the website at www.cbckidsministry.org to learn more about this event.

In case or rain, snow, or temperatures below 50 degrees, festivities will be rescheduled for April 3.

FIRST UNITED METHODIST

The public is invited to attend Holy Week Worship Services at First United Methodist Church Monday thru Friday at 7 a.m. with breakfast following in the Sidney Haviland Room at 7:30 a.m.

Speakers for the week are:

Monday: Tim Humphries, Sunrise Christian Church;

Tuesday: James Smith, Mt. Carmel Christian Church;

Wednesday: Terry McDuffey, Lair United Methodist Church;

Thursday: David Sabella, Covenant Presbyterian Church;

Maundy Thursday worship with Communion will be held on Thursday, April 1 at 7 p.m.

HOUR OF DELIVERANCE

The Hour of Deliverance Chapel, 120 Second St., will be holding a hymn sing on the fourth Sunday of each month beginning March 28 at 6 p.m. There will be no preaching. There will be testifying and praising. Bro. Earl Gross will be in charge of lining up singers for the night.

MOUNTAIN MOVING MINISTRIES
