Antioch Mills Christian Church invites all ladies to stop in Friday, Sept. 25, 6-9 p.m., for a relaxing evening of shopping and socializing with your friends … jewelry, candles, purses, makeup, cooking, home decorating, and much more. 

Drawings and door prizes will be held throughout the night.

Everyone is welcome.


The Colemansville Church will hold a fall revival meeting Thursday, Oct. 8 through Sunday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. nightly.  Bro. Lynn White, pastor of Salem Church of Christ, will be the evangelist. 

There will be special music at each service, featuring John Rich, the Strawzell Family, Earl Gross, the Mattox Family and others.

Sunday morning service will begin at 11 a.m., Oct. 11, and will be followed by a potluck dinner at noon.

Pastor Jim Mitchell and the congregation welcomes everyone to attend.


Cynthiana First Church of God will be hosting a Dave Ramsey Live Event via Nationwide Simulcast on Saturday, Sept. 19. The cost for this event is $25 per person which include a ticket to the event, five hours of financial guidance and a course workbook. You can purchase a ticket by calling the church at 234-3845 or going online to DaveRamsey.com. If you buy your ticket online, you will need to print your ticket at home and bring it to the event. Your workbook will be mailed to the church. This event is a great opportunity to learn how to control your money instead of your money controlling you.


Ebenezer United Methodist Church will be having their Annual Home Coming on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 205 North Locust St.

The afternoon speaker will be Rev. Melvin Gross from Avon Baptist Church. Services will start at 3 p.m.

Please come out and fellowship with us on that special day. Dinners will be sold for $4 and fish sandwiches for $3.


The annual Lord’s Auction will be held Saturday, Oct. 3 at Old Union Christian Church.

Dedication of gifts will be at 10:45 a.m. and the auction will begin at 11 a.m. Donations of all kinds are appreciated. Items to be auctioned range from homemade cakes and funiture to quilts and homegrown produce.

“The Hour of Power” Radio Ministry, aired weekly on Saturday mornings on 90.7 FM (The Wind), at 10-11 a.m.

The Rev. Don Fryman will bring a message each week along with special music by various singers across Harrison County and surrounding counties.


Sunrise Christian Church invites the public to the ‘Fall Harvest Weekend Revival’ on Friday, Sept. 25 at 6:45 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26 at 6:45 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 27 at 11 a.m.

Bro. Howard Brammer will be the guest evangelist.
