Jan. 31 will be the last time Cheryl Case will bear the lengthy title of Harrison County Cooperative Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences, but she vows it will not be the last the community has seen of her.
After 26 years, Case is retiring.
“I still love my job and the people I work for,” Case said, noting that her decision to retire was a tough one. “I’m eligible to retire and a still have things I want to do.”
The top of her list is family; spending more time with her husband, children and grandchildren, and traveling.
