Harrison County Schools will begin installing an expanded security system during the next school year, which will include bullet-proof safety glass enclosures in school lobbies.
The school board approved a request from Assistant Superintendent David Case to advertise for bids for the purchase and installation of the security upgrades.
These upgrades will affect every building to some extent, Case said.
