On the heels of entering not guilty pleas to indictments in Harrison and Lawrence counties, Kay Brown now faces charges in a third county.
A Johnson County grand jury issued an indictment last Wednesday on two counts of second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
According to the indictment, on April 8, 2011, Brown was allegedly in possession of a forged U.S. Treasury check made to James A. Brown, with the intent to defraud.
