A new attorney for Kay Brown told Judge Jay Delaney that he would be filing a motion for a change of venue.
Defense attorney Michael Curtis was in Harrison Circuit Court Tuesday with Brown for a pretrial conference to set a trial date for Brown who has been charged with financial exploitation of an adult (more than $300), first degree perjury and second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
Brown was indicted in Harrison County in November. Those charges were followed by criminal charges in Johnson and Lawrence counties.
