The Harrison County soccer Thorobreds were in a pressure-packed, emotional situation last Thursday evening at the Athletic Complex as they faced arch rival Pendleton County for the championship of the 38th District.
The Breds were late-season 3-1 winners over Pendleton County at LeBus Field but the district competition reflected the urgency of winning so as not to be in the loser’s bracket for the 10th Region.
Another carrot for the winner was the right to host the 10th Region tournament which means home field advantage and much more.
