On a day when a steady down pour made play questionable, the Harrison County Thorobreds soccer team visited with Bourbon County to renew the rivalry.
On Thursday, there was water standing in puddles, especially on the south end of the field, which ended up as a key factor in the match.
The Thorobreds started strong, which pleased Coach Nick Hill.
“We did not start well against Campbell County and I was glad to see the focus was there for this night,” he noted.
