The Harrison County Thorobreds wresting team placed third out of 17 teams competing in the Capital City Classic last Saturday at Franklin County High School.
Oldham County won the team title and Henry Clay was second.
Harrison County sophomore Brandon Barnett was the lone Thorobred champion on the day, winning the 171 pound class with a perfect 4-0 record, winning each match by a fall.
Barnett won his preliminary and semi-final matches with first period pins and his quarterfinal and final round match with second period pins.
