Breds take 2nd at Region 7 tournament; 10 wrestlers advance to state

On Saturday, Feb. 9, the Harrison County wrestling team took second place out of 11 teams in the 2008 Region 7 wrestling tournament and will send 10 wrestlers to state competition in Frankfort.

Defending champions Woodford County took first place with 264 team points, five first-place winners, three second-place winners, four third-place winners, and one sixth-place winner.
