The Larry Kendall era started with a bang last Wednesday night in Maysville and continued Friday night on the Hilltop with two big wins for the Thorobreds.
The Breds started a little slow on Wednesday night as the size of the gym and the excitement of the new season caused some missed shots and turnovers.
The St. Patrick’s squad who was playing for the second time in 2012-13, having beaten Paris on Tuesday, was a little more relaxed.
The score was tied at 11 each at the end of the first quarter.
