There’s no way to disguise the fact that the 2008 soccer year for the Harrison County Thorobreds was dismal.

They finished the year with a 1-14 record. They were shutout nine times, including their last five regular season games and their district tournament loss to Montgomery County, 1-0. They began the season with seven straight losses, defeated Frankfort 1-0, then lost seven more games to wrap up the season. They scored only six goals all year, and never played a game when they scored more than once.

In spite of the their poor showing in 2008, Harrison County head  coach Nick Hill is looking to the 2009 season with optimism.
