Breds shown early exit from district tournament

The Harrison County Thorobreds (9-15) came into the game a 14-point favorite but squandered an early 16-point lead Monday night on the Hilltop as they fell to the underdog Pendleton County Wildcats (6-20) in the first round of the 38th District Boys Basketball Tournament. The Wildcats came from behind to beat the Breds 70-68.

On Feb. 2 the Breds hosted Pendleton County and took the win in a lopsided 61-39 contest.
