Breds? grapplers picking up wins and confidence

On Wednesday, Dec. 12, the Harrison County wrestling team traveled to Covington Holmes to participate in a tri-match with Holmes and Simon Kenton.

The Breds were hurt by forfeits in their first match of the evening against Simon Kenton, giving up 30 points before the round began. The match ended with 30 points for Harrison County and 42 points for Simon Kenton.

Harrison freshman Brandon Barnett, weighing in at 164 lbs, was bumped up to wrestle in the 189 lbs weight class.

In the first period, Barnett jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead on a take down.
