The Kentucky Division of Fish and Wildlife is asking residents of Harrison County to be cautious and not overly vigilant due to a recent bear sighting.
According to Sgt. Pat Brannen of the Kentucky Division of Fish and Wildlife, a confirmed bear sighting has been made by a biologist in the Boyers Chapel area of Harrison County.
Early reports of the sighting first surfaced after several game cameras captured pictures of the bear roaming in the White Oak Pike area.
