The Harrison County Sheriff’s office had its hands full early Tuesday morning when black ice caused 11 car wrecks, four of them injury accidents, within a four-hour time span. One is likely to involve charges, according to Harrison County Sheriff Bruce Hampton.
On a day in which snow and ice were expected to melt, black ice patches caught many morning commuters by surprise, according to Hampton and deputy sheriff Robert Peak.
