To the editor:
There are two men running for the congressional seat left vacant by Geoff Davis’ retirement. Or, I should say one man and an enigma. Bill Adkins has been campaigning tirelessly and has a clearly stated agenda that will protect Medicare and Social Security, and is dedicated to the preservation of the middle-class. Tom Massie has . . . well, he has some really big signs! Huge signs, that tell us absolutely nothing about who he is or what he stands for. He won’t debate, he doesn’t stump. I often wonder if he even exists. Massie will soon launch a series of TV ads, no doubt paid for by an equally secretive super-PAC. Bill Adkins cannot match Massie financially, but it would be a shame for a real Kentuckian like him to lose to someone we know nothing about. Adkins has a genuine concern for our well-being and is well worth our vote.
