Benefit planned for BGE lineman

Larry Lovelace is a lineman with Blue Grass Energy and has been diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Larry, 45, has been employed with Blue Grass energy since 2006. He and his wife Amanda have a son, Ian who is 6.

A benefit to help Larry will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Flat Run Veterans’ Park on Oddville Avenue; 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event will include a concert by Jo Jo Gunn to begin at 6 p.m. Other activities will include a charity auction, bingo, children’s inflatables, Dunk-A-Lineman booth, face and hair painting for the children, food and drinks.

Gate Admission is $3 per person. All proceeds from this event benefit Larry Lovelace.
