A Benefit for Chris Jolly will be held Saturday, Jan. 26 at 4 p.m. at the Mt. Olivet Fire Hall.
Jolly passed away on Dec. 26 after a long battle with stomach cancer. He was denied his disability twice while he was being treated for his cancer, his life insurance expired, and he couldn’t afford his treatments. His family is selling raffle tickets for: a country ham, tickets are $2 or 3 for $5. We are also asking local businesses to donate something for a silent auction for his benefit. The event will have a live band, silent auction and a chili supper.
